About this property
Vendor Comment: Although we are excited to be moving to another part of the country, we will be very sad to leave a house and area we have lived in - and loved - for over 20 years. We will miss the cosy winter evenings in front of the wood burner and sitting in the kitchen on sunny mornings watching the birds in the garden. The spacious rooms, high ceilings and period features, particularly the lovely leaded lights, and the nice flow to the ground floor rooms are what first attracted us to the house. The mature rear garden attracts birds, bats, and the occasional fox. It has been the perfect location for travelling to our work in central Bristol and Bath.
There are many lovely green spaces to explore particularly Victory Park, Brislington Meadows, Nightingale Valley and Arnos Vale cemetery, and the area is served by an excellent community hub at St Anne’s House. Sandy Park, with its independent small shops and cafes, is just a 5-minute stroll away. Temple Meads train station and the University’s Temple Quarter Zone on Avon Street are just a 15-minute cycle ride along the St Philip’s Greenway. All in all, it has been a fantastic place to live these past 20-or-so years..
